According to data provided by the DBK Informa Observatory, the herbal and dietetic sector grew in 2018, in values, by 5.4%, for a global turnover of 460 million euros.

They represent more than € 22,000 that have stopped being sold, that year, in each of the Spanish pharmacies. (Data that does not include the 2,000 million that will represent the CBD market in Spain, according to some estimates).

That same year, according to IQVIA data, the #pharmacy grew by around 2%.

It is not that some "do" it better than others. It is more important to WANT to bet on those products.

Both #commercials are based on the same thing, the #service provided and the credibility of those who serve the customer. Obviously, at this time, the difference is centered in the breadth of ranges worked and the interest placed in them, less in the pharmacy, of course.

We can't expect customers to always consume the usual dozen # herbodiet products at all #pharmacies.

Nor can we trust the #training of manufacturers, usually so technical that if it is transferred to the #client, they end up not understanding anything. The training must be very focused on the average customer level and focused on closing the sale; to combine different products to help solve a problem, not to make the seller an encyclopedia.

It is very important to be aware of the fashions, news and innovations in this market. They change very frequently: marine collagen, turmeric, saffron, raspberrys ... You have to track the #bigdata, #rrss, #influencers ...

You have to be up to date with news and be very flexible in order to be the fastest to respond to #demand.

Remember, these days, the fastest fish beats the big one.
