SECOND HANDICAP. Time management.

Time management
#Handicap 2. #TimeManagement.

The #pharmacy, staff, suppliers, clients, family, courses, meetings ... Is there time to plan? to manage?

Very little.

Having a #business like the #pharmacy requires a lot of time, because there are a multitude of tasks and interruptions that prevent the amount of time spent managing.

We see it every day.

When we go to advise a #pharmacy, it is one of the first problems in which we propose solutions.

The first thing is to take charge of your time. Make a routine as an agenda of the important and urgent tasks of the day.

Important. Limit external visits so that the pharmacy staff act as a filter and accustom them to request an appointment on a specific day ... which must be scrupulously observed, you have to maintain a serious image.

You have to prioritize what that scarce time is invested in. Important and urgent tasks must be carried out as soon as possible, they do not allow delay, they usually have a maximum execution period.

Non-urgent but important ones may take more time to complete. These are usually medium-term planning tasks, some can be delegated, others not.

Those not important or urgent must be discarded.

As for the needs of the # day-to-day management. Wanting to cover too much takes up so much time as it generates premature disappointments and uncontrolled when you cannot get to everything. You have to delegate. In specific professional topics, you cannot take care of everything, especially when you have not been trained to do so.

We must prioritize what is important in day-to-day management: input and output of products so that data is reliable and decision-making on future planning is not delayed.

You always have to look for simple solutions to these problems. If not, they are not solutions ... they will generate more time problems.
